E-Learning: Competent Person - NEN 3140

This course is intended for persons who perform electrical work such as taking measurements, carrying out repairs and modifications, but also for example putting an installation 'in LOTO' or supervising and using PPE in specific situations. The target group for this course already has a designation as a Competent Person or has yet to be designated. The course is suitable for both target groups.

This course is often taken by electrical engineering personnel from Technical Services in industry or petrochemicals, but also by employees of installation companies, safety regions and also self-employed persons.

The course material can be downloaded in the course environment and you do not need to order it separately.

You can start the course immediately (after payment).

The study load is 4 hours.

• Occupational Health and Safety Act, EN 50110-1 and NEN 3140
• Powers and Responsibilities
• Dangers of electricity
• The most important circuit protections and their function
• How to Perform Lockout, Tagout
• What is: 'working under tension'
• Which PPE is mandatory when?
• When should you supervise?

The course is completed with a certificate.
