E-Learning: Competent Person - NEN 3140

This course is intended for individuals who perform electrical work, such as taking electrical measurements, carrying out repairs and modifications to electrical installations, and also, for example, performing LOTO (safeguarding) of (part of) an electrical installation, or supervising and using electrical PPE in specific situations. The target group for this course is either already designated as a Competent Person or is yet to be designated. The course is suitable for both target groups.

This course is often attended by electrical engineering personnel from Technical Services in industry or petrochemicals, but also employees of installation companies, machine factories, safety regions and also self-employed persons.

The course consists of several videos that clearly explain the material. Afterward, you can take the (online) exam, and upon successful completion, you'll automatically receive your certificate.

The course materials are also available in the learning environment and can be used as a reference. They also contain the course materials that will appear in the exam. You have three retakes, but if you pay close attention to the videos and thoroughly review the course materials, you should be able to pass on the first try.

The course ends with an exam and certificate.
